MALAYSIA Very seldom people travel Asia with their campervans, so we are attracting many asian people, seeing something like this the first time, aswell our unconventional and the baby...Mainly about 30-40 people marvel at us, we are happy if someone can speak english (Photo M 4: village attraction). In Malaysia lots of people gaped without feeling shy. South of Melakka we took over to the eastcoast passing the Endau Rompin Nationalpark, which turned out as an expensive touristresort even after 60 kms gravelroad. The nationalparks have strict regulations and are overorganised and if not, lots of picnicers leave lots of rubbish. In Mersing we met again Sandra and Axel and stayed with them along the eastcoast. Tokyos health is not stable and we leave soon our nice park-up in Air Papan and visit regulary hospitals. Kolja entered into competition with her and stepped at a rivermouth onto a stingray. 24 hours constant pain, despite hardcore painkillers, which didn`t help a bit. Kolja had to stay one night in hospital (Photo M 5: hospital visitors Sandra and Axel), between lots of motorbikeaccident victims. With two of us in poor healthy condition we visited the Taman Negara Nationalpark (Photo M 6: canopy walk in 40 m high in Taman Negara Nationalpark), discovered elephant tracks, listened to the monkeyshouting and Kolja nearly put his fingers on a birdspider big as his hand. In Kota Bahru (Photo M 7: chilli sellerwoman on market) our last city in Malaysia we again entered the hospital and after a week long bloodcheck the diagnosis was a kidney infection after a bladder infection. We are approaching our first on-land-border. |
